I've been making this Twix Mix dessert for some time now, and I have just found the perfect adjustment to make it a dessert worthy enough to be called Tummylicious.
All you need are four ingredients, twix, creme carmel, creme and biscuits. In the past I used to use tea biscuits such as Marie or LU. But tea biscuits weighed down this treat and made it heavy on the stomach. I now use italian lady fingers- the ones used in Tiramisu, and they make a whole lot of difference.
Refrigerate overnight for best results, but you may consume as soon as it holds.
5 twix bars
5 powdered creme carmel packets
5 cans Nestle creme Quishta
1 packet biscuit
Throw the twix in the freezer for the time being.
Combine the carmel powder and the creme in a blender and pulse until combined.
Chop the twix into half inch pieces and throw in with the carmel mixture.
Pulse until all broken up. Throw in 3 lady fingers, to help firm the liquid.
Arrange the rest of the lady fingers in your designated dish, and slowly pour the twix mixture on top.
The biscuit will slowly soak put some of the liquid so dont be afraid if they are floating at the moment.
Cover with cling film and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, you may garnish with crumbled biscuit- but I serve mine plain.
