Brownie Strawberry Trifle

This recipe takes strawberries and cream a little farther. Cue, Betty Crockers' chocolate fudge brownies.  The strawberries with the brownies make such a delightful symphony of flavors- you can't get enough! Believe me, you'll be cramming it in even after you're close to bursting.

(makes two jars, just double if you want more)
1 packet ready mix brownies + ingredients written on the box
1 punnet strawberries (rinsed and dried)
1 cup whipping cream
1-1 1/2  tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

The whipping cream MUST be cold. Otherwise you won't get it the consistency that is needed.
Whip the cream in a kitchen mixer, when it begins to thicken add in the sugar and the vanilla. Continue beating until firm swirls appear-careful to not over beat.

When whipping cream is ready, place in the refrigerator until needed.
Prepare the brownies as per box instructions.

Allow to fully cool before cutting into bite sized pieces.
Looks yummo, I know..

Chop the strawberries into quarters.
Begin layering into designated dish (jars make these that much more fun to eat).
Start off with the cream, then brownies and top off with the strawberries. Continue until you reach the top.

You can eat these right away, or you can have them the next day. I personally like mine the next day, because the flavors fuse. And the brownies become soft.

Don't have jars? No problem- just use any deep transparent  bowl.
